LPG in Omega v6
« on: 01 November 2010, 16:38:29 »

Hi,

What is the 'Best' LPG system to go for?
I have an Omega 3.0 v6 Saloon (Facelift).
I do not need the spare tyre, therfore a donut tank would be ideal.

I live in west midlands,
so if anyone knows of a place where I can buy one and get it fitted please do let me know.

Raj

As I'm down South I can't recommend any place to fit a system but I have a Zavoli system fitted which has been ok. The favourite on the forum seems to be the Stag one though.

Do you know of anyone in the west midlands that I can take my car to and get the Stag system installed?

There are a few variations of the Stag system - Stag, StagPlus and Stag Premium.

Any thoughts on each?

I have a Stag+ 300 in mine.  Difference between Stag and Stag+ non existent to be honest, the Plus model has 3d map capability.

The Stag kits do seem to suffer a 'lag' on Auto models when the car changes gear at full bore. Mine seems to be better than most, but cannot say why.

I have BRC sequental 56 system with 50lt gas tank on my Omega 2,5 V6. So, I can recommend that you have a BRC system installed. In my opinion, Italian people are axpert on this issue.

I wonder when he last updated the fuel prices .. especially the LPG price on his website .... !!! Must be a few years ago !!!

to the OP..  I have a "profesionally fitted" BRC system and rate it highly ... :) (but it wasn't cheap !! )

People try to do this job theirselves and make such crutters of the job it frightens me been honest.
But like you say yours is a Professional Job too :y Mr. Wood & Lazytinkers are aswell ;)
