throttle position load sensor not plausible

this was the above fault that came up when diagnostic tested yesterday, this causes the spanner light to come on intermitantly some times after 2 mins other times half hr or not at all ect theres no limp mode or spluttering it drives exactly the same with or without the spanner light on just wondered what was likely to cause this fault? any ideas cheers

Have you tried cleaning the breathers and throttle body, easy enough job if you follow the guides on here. I used to get this P1555 i think all the time, did the above and hasn't been back in 10000 miles so can't complain. :y
