few questions and and introduction
« on: 15 November 2010, 21:31:20 »

Really an using this forum and asking questions think is third in a week :)

Ill introduce myself I'm jonny and from northern ireland I bought a 2000 3.0 mv6 on friday. Really enjoy driving it. So nice to drive and a great cruiser on motorway. So much nicer than my old prefacelift 2.5td.
No problems with it just questions had asked about cruise control and thanks for a very quick and helpful relpy, also asked about lsd on another topic.

I'm now looking to know about my headlight washer jets, there's no water coming out of them, didn't have time tonight so the mara night I'm going to see if the jets are blocked but is there any common faults with them are they on the same pump as the window ones and do they just come on with the window ones?
Also how do ya turn the heated mirrors on? My car didn't come with the handbook

Thanks
Jonny

Hiya Mate, are you checking the headlight squirties with the headlights on?
From memory they work from a seperate pump to the windscreen washers, it's in the same reservoir though.
The heated mirrors work with the heated rear screen.
