help! I need to reset key to immobiliser as I pup a new battery in and it wont reset by putting key in ignition going to number1 and pressing button to lock and unlok immobiliser light just keeps flashing arrgh

Have you checked that the chip is stillin the key?

Thanks for that Doh!! when I was changing the battery late last night after a 20hr day I saw a piece of black plastic drop on the floor and put it in the bin. I just spent 20 mins going through the bin lol. Found it worked out where it went in the key problem solved

Result!   

Te re-set that you described is just for syncronising the remote locking bit of the fob to your car.
