help! I need to reset key to immobiliser as I pup a new battery in and it wont reset by putting key in ignition going to number1 and pressing button to lock and unlok immobiliser light just keeps flashing arrgh :'(

Have you checked that the chip is stillin the key?

Thanks for that Doh!! when I was changing the battery late last night after a 20hr day I saw a piece of black plastic drop on the floor and put it in the bin. I just spent 20 mins going through the bin lol. Found it worked out where it went in the key problem solved  :D :y

Te re-set that you described is just for syncronising the remote locking bit of the fob to your car.  ;)  ;)
