Rumble when cold/cambelt

got my 2.6v6 which is fab but over the past 2 weeks(cold weather i must say ) when i first start of get a rumble like a flat tyre but not,after about three miles and when the car is warm its fine, Gearbox oil i'm thinking ? Tyres are all new, also changed the cambelt in may 08 at 52k now done 77k local garage advises me to change again what do you all think ??

from the timescale and mileage it is fine. .  4 years or 40,000 miles between changes....

Unless of course that same guy at the garage did the job and is wondering if its something he has done?

not the same garage work a bit slack prob trying to rip me off, thought i would ask you guys to get an honoust answer.
