Glove box opening damper
« on: 25 January 2011, 17:53:09 »

I'm fairly sure my glove box used to open gently, but now it just drops open and bounces, as anyone had this problem and know a fix, or am i imagining it had a damper in the first place.

No damper on any of the Omegas I have owned.

Release the glovebox catch and it would just drop if you weren,t holding the handle,I suppose.

I can't remember from the last time I removed my Omega's glove box, but if a basic Astra G does, I'd bet the Omega has one too. The Astra's glove box doesn't wind down like an ashtray though  :y :y
