Do facelift seats fit in a pre-facelift please?
« on: 05 February 2011, 12:11:19 »

Hi all.
I just offered a donation of a set of facelift seats to 'mattg' for his Ramshackle Rally charity run.
Will facelift seats go in a pre-facelift as I don't want to waste his time.
Thanks.

Pretty sure they'll go in ok.  May be some wiring req'd to get the side airbags sorted, but as they are not fitted to the pre-facelift then I don't think there will be an issue with insurance if they do not operate.

Pre facelift into a facelift is not ok from an insurance point of view due to the no side airbags issue.

Fairly sure the seat belt pre tensioners will be different.
