In the last month or so the rear suspension has developed some serious clunking. Best way to describe it is as if there's a big Heavy solid box in the boot which jumps as I go over rough surfaces i.e. sunk manhole covers or pot holes. On a rough road it clunks fast and continuously as if the springs are having an effect on whatever is clunking.
It happens when either rear wheel hits a bump in the road.
I did the Donut Bushes last year so I don't suspect them (unless it's possible for them to come loose somehow??? but I can't imagine how that would happen..).
It seems as though the recent cold spell has had an effect all round...my front drop links have both also gone in the last month and i have replacements ready to fit, but i'm less familiar with the rear suspension so could do with some idea's as to what it could be. It's done over 200k miles so could it be rear stabiliser link bushes, like this one?
