Which Oil?

synthetic - semi synthetic - non synthetic im at a loss i presumed oil was oil.
So which is best for the Migs please

GM Semi 10/40. does the job just fine and cheap as chips with trade card. :y

Get access to Tradeclub, and buy GM Semi synth from there - £40 for 4x5l. Filters are cheap there as well ;)

Its better to use semi synth and change it more often, than use fully synth and leave it longer.  You'd have to be pretty stupid to put in semi and leave it in for 20k as Vauxhall state in their service guff...

But just a quick one guys, i was hoping someone might say 5w30 but everyone going with 10w40.
Iv got a 3.2 and im using 5w30 oil and avoiding the shorter changes, as i was advised:
shorter changes 10w40
longer changes 5w30.  :-/
