« on: 16 June 2011, 18:23:22 »

hi guys i changed all 4 corners brake wise at the weekend when i was up my mums... i notice that drivers side rear sags. ive also noticed recently a wosh of air when i park up and then when driving or ignition is on a motor sound like a pump. i know these have self leveling rear shocks and in searching here come up with so many ideas from L A shocks to. doughnut bush so thought i'd ask of the best way but i'd say i know whats wrong?? its the shock. oh oh and most times going over a speed bump theres a creek from back there..THANKS GUYS. :y

Yep Self levelling rear air shocks on Elites. Air pump is under floorpan on DTi's as the recirc pump is under the O/S front wing (V6 Elites have the pump there instead).

Check the air lines from the pump to the shock absorber for leaks.

Oh and the squeeking sound can be handbrake cable adjusted incorrectly - someone adjusted it at the centre rather than at the wheels as per the guide on here.

Which reminds me... must agjust the handbrake on my DTi!
