Click click click on full lock
« on: 21 July 2011, 20:02:06 »

Hi oh gatekeepers of all knowledge!
Suddenly started getting a fast clicking sound whenever i am on full lock on steering but only on forward motion not in reverse.
Any ideas ?

Ahhh, won't be a CV joint then. Could be the power steering pump??

Unlikely to be a CV joint as the steering doesn't change the angle of the CV joint on a RWD vehicle ;) ;) ;)

I would be looking at the Steering Fluid level as a start, then at the pump as it is working harder when on lock... Check the pulley for security too :y :y
