Star Silver Z157 Bumper
« on: 05 September 2011, 14:40:52 »

Anyone used a touch up paint on a Star Silver Z157. What did you use. Have tried several from local auto shops which were star silver 2 and got one mixed from Halfrauds Z157 to touch up scuffs on bumper. but still wont blend in. Dont wanna do the whole thing. Any Advice.

Ive found that none of them blend very well tbh. I bought an aerosol can of "BLEND" from my local paint factors and found that it helped.spray on the painted area immediately after painting and it (to a certain extent) blends it in with the surrounding area.

I use Car Plan color match silver 21(met). I believe it to be an exact match for Z157. Costs about £6 for a 400ml can. :y

Try Vauxhall, they do the aerosols in a twin pack, one colour one laquer and they're not too expensive ;)
