Alarm going off
« on: 20 September 2011, 21:11:26 »

Hi

The alarm on my 2003 2.2 auto has started going off all the time, no rationale, no predicting, sometimes it goes off for 4-5 minutes, other times its just odd bleeps. Also the passenger door isn't responding to the central locking.

Help!!

i have had 4 omegas, all four had alarm problems, on the second one the sounder actually caught fire, had to disconnect the battery pretty quick, when removed it was totally melted, the first thing i do now on all my omegas is remove the sounder wiring,as a precaution,
some will say dont do it as it will invalidate youre insurance, do it now before it catches fire in the middle of the night.....
