I have been in both  Areas, and have seen some terrible things happening to the civilians in that area.  i agree with people asking questions  about right and wrong, but  I joined the forces knowing that i could be caught up in some serious and dangerous theatres.The people that i have helped were not Interested in Politics, but purely the help that was received.
As for the Government their reasons are completely different and unfortunately we are not asked for our opinion when our Forces are sent somewhere.

IMHO. In Afgan, yes, but if & only if our boy's & girl's are allowed to do what their supposed to do & to be supplied with the proper equipment. Then they should be there.

Soddem Insane wanted ousting from Iraq , but it's gone on far too long now. Iv'e a mate thats from Iraq & he's lost most of his family, because of that a%"e & the only family he had left he could only see from across the border. Thats changed now.

yes i agree that the reason for the gulf was purely an economical one pushed by the US, it was the useless tony Blair that was not man enough to say no.
I was one of the first in Kuwait, our equipment was useless, so we borrowed it of the other side
