MP3 lead - CCR2006
« on: 14 May 2008, 21:49:27 »

I am told that there is a lead on the market that plugs between the aerial and radio unit which allows direct connection to an MP3 player, which can then be played through the car stereo set up --- anybody any ideas what this is and where they might be had from ?

I thought the FM modulator connected to the MP3 player and transmitted to the stereo. Have tried these and not happy with sound quality, so looking for a direct link.

No direct link available for CCR2006

I`ll bet the modulators have been the cheesy in-line aerial ones that are known for being cheap and cheerfull.

Consider using a real one, and you will have no problems

Yup, using a quality modulator you should be able to get good results.....certainly the quality loss is far more likely to be in the poor quality MP3 file than the link to the audio setup!
