Elite Elctric Seat Adjustment.
« on: 04 June 2008, 10:00:28 »

I want to modify my seat position if possible.

Without taking the seat out I was wondering if anyone could answer any of the following for me.

I want to try and gain at leat 2" more leg room, but I dont know if the is enough wiring, or even how the wiring is connected for the heated sates and electrical operation.

Also is there a way of adjusting the limit stop on the motor(s) that adjust the height as the seat seems higher than the one fitted in my GLS, but then there may be a bit extra padding on the Elite seats.

Blimey.... You must be tall!!!

I'm 6'4" and have no problems with my electric seats... In fact, I don't even have to go all the way back and, unusually, people can fit in behind me too!!!  ;D ;D ;D :y :y :y

Am only 6'1" but I have a dodgy right knee and I need just a little bit more space to get my foot out at it catches on the corner of the frame under the bottom hinge.

My other car I just have enough space.

I'm only 6' but I'd like the seat a bit lower. I think it's probably all the motor gubbins in the way.

I have been trying to find pictures of the seat frame/mechanics all day.  Has anyone got any pics that might help.

Of if any one is in the process of selling any Elite Electric/memory seats and they are out of te car I would appreciate any pictures of the mounting frame in a way to see if it could be drilled to move the seat further back, or on the frame to see if the height adjustment could be altered in any way. (I know it's a big ask, but would be greatly appreciated.)
