Continuous voltage at Ciggy lighter
« on: 10 July 2008, 19:37:17 »

Hi, can anyone tell me an easy method to have a perminant fused battery supply at the omega dashboard cigarette lighter? Without running wires from battery etc?
Thanks

You will have to rewire it to a (FUSED!) permanent live circuit, the current circuit runs - Power steering, cigarette lighter, heated front seats, electrically operated rear window blind, air circulation system, electric air conditioning, heated rear window - so would need to be removed from that circuit entirely.

You could nick the supply of the rear (back seat) ciggy lighter without too much fuss, that one stays on for about 20 mins after you switch the ing. off I believe.

Or take it before the timer box (where ever that is?).

If thats any good.
