2000W 6x9 speaker ?

I cant see why anyone would make such a poor quality product. You would need so much power to run them that all accoustic quality would be lost.

Now if you want to consider them as a ridiculous speaker, then I`m afraid that I also claimed that title many years ago myself when we built a demo car for Kenwood

That 32" speaker comes under the heading "stupid" !!!! I assume the car was towed 200 metres behind whoever was listening in order to protect their ears/sanity !!!!!

Looks good though, did they sell many of them ???

Actually no !!  It was a stunning PR excercise for both Kenwood and ourselves, but due to a few production and technical "issues" the production run was very short and less than a handfull ever reached the UK.

And No, the car was just driven normally. Only the cars that were concrete lined to prevent burstage due to internal sound pressures were ever towed. Cars such as the green VW Beetle shown on this page
