De coding ccrt 700

Been offered a bose ccrt 700 no code. Could i just swap the the removable security panel over from my ccrt 700 or would i have to de code it. Would be cheaper than tech 2 on mine plus my phone doesnt work. But if it needs de coding may not be such a cheap option.

No, you cant swap over the panels, that would confuse it further !

They are an absolute pig to decode, which is why it is being offered without a code. If you decide that you maust have it decoded and cannot find a known good one with a working code, then by all means have a look at this link

or take unit to local vauxhall dealer they can get code ! iirc i paid £15ish  :y

You struck lucky then, as most Vauxhall dealers cannot cope with the CCRT700 and are sending them to me !

cumbria i have a DECODED CCRT 700 pm me and ill discuss further with you will be forsale after the w/e when i get my CCR800  ::)

Did you manage to locate a ccr800 in the end then? Sorry, I got sidetracked on cracking NCDC codes...
