carin sat nav into another car (not omega)
« on: 10 January 2009, 13:08:33 »

Seeing as this sytem is pretty much independant of the rest of the car, is it theoretically possible to fit it into a different make of car?

The screen would have to fit somewhere but assuming I can pick the wires I need from the toyota's loom it should work shouldnt it?

Or will the speed signal be wrong?

cheers

We were unsure if the speed signal would adjust itself enough for it to work in other cars.  It would be a case of trying it I think
