Stupid poxy handbrake springs.  I've pulled my arm somehow doing it. Now in a bit of agony, much to Mrs TheBoy's amusement - she keeps using my favourite saying "a bit of pain never hury anyone".
[/highlight]

She is right Jaime, A bit of pain don't hurt any one , take it like a man not a mouse ;D ;D
Unlike you girls, us blokes (well, those more masculine blokes anyway) only complain about pain when it really hurts  :P

Those who know me know I never take any medication - its the body's defence system to give pain when damaged, so a bit of pain is good.

I did relent when I came off the bike nearly 3 yrs ago, and took some of her prescription painkillers.  WOW - I was in a strange parallel world for a few hours.  Trouble is, when they wore off, body went in shock due to pain, and I passed out  ::)

Thing is, my arm is still killing me today - thank god I have an auto, else I'd never have got in today.

Feels like I've done something to the muscle in my left forearm.

Reckon I shall take some medication when I get home - a special medication from Belgium, has a picture of a horn on the label, and tastes rather nice..... ;)
And I did more visible damage to my face doing this than the accident itself.  When I went back to work with smashed up face, they all though that was part of the acrobatics thing on the Buckingham Road ;D

Friend of mine is a commercial pilot. He fell of his motorbike, and hurt his shoulder. He was grounded for 6 months while recovering. All went well and a couple of weeks before he was supposed to return to flying duty, he felt so good that he went to play some tennis. One sharp movement, and he felt his shoulder crack... normality was then restored surprisingly quickly, however he later realised that he could do everything apart from raising his right arm above the height of his shoulders.... and since the A321 he is flying has some knobs and dials on the ceiling, he remains grounded until further notice. Hope your arm heals soon  ;D

I've found its not the spring thats the biggest problem but the nice little shaped cup that the retaining pin needs to rotate into, if it snaps out of the needle nosed pliers.  It then goes into virtual stellar orbit, assisted by the steady spring......

if you get it right those things have the range of a cruise missile!
