Full Beam Problem
« on: 24 April 2009, 17:18:21 »

well the erractic behaviour of my indicator switch (see post 13/02/09 Full Beam Prob, not obligatory) has now become permanent headlamps going to main beam over bumps. So before some one in my village finds out where I live, a new switch is being  ordered. The question is (at last), will a new switch just plug in and work or is the cruise control going to sulk?

Vx dealers have said they need a two letter code. Which they say is on the stalk. I have looked and it ain't. The parts database recognises that I have a 2.5 diesel but apprently has about 6 options all with 2 letter prefixes one of which should match mine.  Help

Thanks

Yes, cruise will work.

There are 2 stalks fitted to Omega - if they check all the ident codes, they all come back to 2 different part numbers. 2.5TD one ends in 12 (all others end in 11)...
