Earlier on I had the cd on and for no reason ER-4 came up on the dash and the cd came out, put it back in and all was well. Hasn't happened before or since :-?

What does ER-4 mean?

Dirty disc or worn laser. (assuming original discs and not non compatable cdr`s)

Can be exaggerated in the extremes of temperature also.
