Elite electric interior in CDX...both facelift.
« on: 06 July 2009, 16:28:34 »

Hello all,
I do remember this being posted some time ago but can't seem to find it. I was going to post in general help, but I think this is more of an electrical question.
I've got a facelift CDX saloon with the velour interior...I want to upgrade to leather, preferably an Elite interior with the heated rear seats and full electric adjustment of both front seats. However, I was wondering is this actually possible? I'd also fit the auto dim mirror too that hopefully would work with the seats. Would the memory function work, or would too much extra wiring and stuff be needed? Really I'm not sure how much work would be needed...but the most important hurdle to jump is actually finding a facelift elite interior in the right colour (light grey)
Many thanks

Replied to similar post.

I have a CDX and put in a full elite leather interior - you just have to adapt drivers seat wiring.  Don't think the mirror will work as the wring from the seat to the mirror is missing - different loom - and too big a job to fit

The auto dim mirror isn't connected to the seats, it just needs an extra signal from the reverse lights (if you bother fitting that part, most don't bother!), everything else is up there already. The electric seats need about a foot of the Elite loom with the plugs still attached and then you attach a few of the wires together and patch into your existing loom. I'll find you the HowTo in a sec :y
