Contents (renters) insurance?
« on: 16 February 2008, 16:28:21 »

Is anyone reasonable for this?  HSBC wants 150/yr for 50K coverage, which is way too much.  Estate agency wants 75/yr for 2,500 coverage.  WTF?  :o

In the states I could get coverage for like $50/year and I had my own furniture then.  We rent furnished, and there's an alarm.  Can't we get 10-15K coverage for 50/yr?!?

I pay Norwich Union Direct £70 for 35K, but I have a discount for having two policies (motor insurance)

Maybe, except I don't need 50K coverage.  Divide it all by 3-5 and I'm happy.
