map reading lights

the map reading lights wont work on my 2001 mv6 changed the bulbs still nothing i know on mfl they were ing fed any ideas ?

On mine the front two (nearest the driver) of the four come on with the doors open or the light switch pulled out ,I have found that the other two only come on if the front two are off . They dont all come on together  :y

Proves how much notice I take of the back seat area. I thought there were only two reading lights nestled in the O.F handles
