They are supposed to be low - they are not for illuminating a long way in front (pointless in fog), more about illuminating kerb/road a few feet in front.

this is why i wondered if they could be adjusted, i think mine are too low and poss somebody has fiddled with them before i got it. i can't see any adjusters from looking at them behind grills etc.

prolly have to pop bumper off on prefacelifts, cant remember the mechanism.

Before you go to that length, how far up the road are they projecting, lets compare :y

They are uncontrolled beams (no precise cutoff) so have to be set low to avoid dazzling other drivers. If used for their intended purpose they need to be set low to allow you to see the edge of the road without getting blinded by glare.

I would say when in drivers seat etc, the light projects 6-10 ft max more like 6ft.

both seem level to each other, deff no where near low beam projection, not sure if fog though.

Find yourself a flat surface and park 25' away (that's 25' from front bumper) from a wall/garage door/etc.
Measure the height from the centre of the fog light to ground, and use that figure to draw a line on the wall at the same height.
Switch on your fog lights and see where the top of the beam strikes the wall, aim the tops of the beams so that they strike 1½" (40mm) below the line and you'll be as near as damnit for alignment.

Bumper hasn't dropped, has it?  Fogs are only attached to bumper (uncontrolled beam).
