siemens NCDC2013 CID problem

hey pals, one day ago my info display became blury ,
Can it be fixed  ::), or it is dead end for this display ?
How much it will cost £?

Not cheap to replace, theres some German ebay guys reckon they can fix them, also other issues about de pairing and pairing the HU and CID if you do get a replacement, but I'll let the experts on here explain that one.

Edit, Just noticed you drive a 2.5DTi, so you must already be on the other side of the Channel. That should help.

Looks like knackered LCD panel.  From memory, its a Sharp LQ126AW panel (double check, sticker on back of LCD unit.  Sadly, that panel is obsolete.  LQ136 works in its place, but also difficult to source

This is how mine started - it works then it doesn't - then you bang dashboard and it works - over time will just get worse. I bought replacement off German ebay which unfortunately had a fault which The Boy helped confirm and had to send back for supplier to fix - which they did. Has been fine for nearly 3 years now.
