electric windows(retro fit)
« on: 25 July 2010, 12:36:14 »

I have now a full set of electric windows in the ex-plod. This morning I had the drivers door off and removed the old loom(sod of a job) after refitting had been done and battery re-connected I tested the windows all was fine but they will only move when button is held down/up and will not auto down or up with one flick of the button. Is there a reset that has to be done(does it need tech2 to reset) :-?

Joff, hold the switch to move the windows up for more than 5 seconds, and that should reset the one touch facility. Everytime the battery is disconnected, this will need to be done afterwards.
So, with the windows in the up position, hold the switch for more than 5 seconds in the up position and this will cure it and restore auto up and down.
