Can anyone give any suggestions how to free a jammed CD magazine on a CCR 2006 radio. I bought the car 2nd hand and no idea if there is a cd in it, can't contact the previous owner as he is abroad. However if I try to ply a cd it comes up with cd error so I presume there is not one loaded. When the flap drops I can see the magazine but it does not eject.

If you look in the flap, does the magazine look as if its been expanded out?

I have seen two now where the motor that drives arm where the optical pickup is mounted has failed resulting in the cassette jamming.

No the flap drops fine. And I can see the cartridge inside.

i had the same trouble with mine when i first got it same model radio as well, with the flap down i used a small screwdriver one each side takes some fiddling but i got it out it had 5 cd's in it no wonder it jamed and it has been fine ever since.

One was mine . sounds just like the same prob i had with mine
