electic fault

have a problem with a fuse blowing when tying to start car and ign light go out when you replace the fuse it starts again any thoughts please the car is a 3.2 omega 2002 model

does it do it all the time?, just the once? or what does it do? and what fuse is it blowing ?

i think it has blown a few times all the dash lights go out 20 amp fuse i believe its my brother who has the problem trying to help him out when you replace it the car starts again any thoughts on what it might be

A clue as to which fuse might be useful ;)

Then its a case of pinpointing which circuit is causing it.

Well it was common to me :-)

First thing I would do would be to isolate the front seat heating. This can be done down by the electric seat adjustment. Be careful as the air bag connections are down there too...

I haven't got any pics of the connection and I've looked on the site but can't find any..
