Remote boot release...
« on: 15 April 2011, 22:12:07 »

I'm curious to know what would be involved in fitting the remote boot release from a F/L saloon to a F/L estate?

I'm not worried about changing the key fobs, but it would be quite cool to change the blanking plate in my centre console for a working boot release...

Has anyone done this already? whats involved and what bits do I need to salvage from a donor car?

TIA  :y

Yeah it does a bit.... maybe I'll just go for the switch on the dash for effect, even though it doesn't do anything... bit like those heated rear seat switches hey Albs!!  :-X :y
