Auto changer has been in safe mode for a while now.

Would some kind person please advise how to reset it (Now that I have found the car pass /codes)



Also is there a way to disable the codes?

Exactly what is the display showing? Entering the wrong code should steadily count down to zero - but you'd have stopped and asked for help by about 6  ;) ;)

i take it radio is working ??
to input code for cd
switch on ignition
switch off radio
press and hold cd key
turn on radio keeping cd pressed until hear beep
input code
press ok on big button
if you want to disable radio and cd codes after you have inputted both codes and radio and cd are working go through the same procedure inputting the codes this wil disable the codes, which means no more putting in codes after disconecting the battery  :y
