Have a look here .... http://www.western-towing.co.uk/acatalog/Caravan_12S_wiring_diagram.html   :y :y
I fed the charging / fridge via the large red cable in the socket already in the boot that also has the 12N connections. If you look in the fuse box up front under the steering column there's a space for a 20A (?) specifically for this cable.  :y
Be aware that it depends on how old your caravan is as to exactly how the 12S is wired. Later 'vans from about 97/98 have a 'habitation' relay.

It's all easy enough. I wanted a single socket so I could swing it out of the way to go with my detachable towbar so converted to a modern 13 pin. It's worth considering as they make a far better connection especially with regard to the high current requirements of the fridge ie 9 Amps. There are various cases of the fridge pins of a 12S burning out due to iffy connection of the two.  ;) ;)

Hmmm, thats food for thought, was it easy to convert the 2 caravan sockets?

I suppose that must depend on the make of caravan. Both my 12N & 12S cables came into the front of the caravan at 2 eight way fuse boxes, so it was easy enough to remove them & replace with the single 13 core cable. But I know that the 12N cable on some caravans go straight to the lights at the back of the 'van.
