Coil Packs
« on: 13 August 2011, 00:46:31 »

Is there anything that could cause one to fail? thinking of 2.2 so full pack, replaced on 20th July, or thereabouts and now looks like it as failed again!! bad part or is there something that can cause them to fail? no apparent damage on the original, need to check the replacement..... ::) ::)

Water can damage it. Did you check if there is any water or oil traces on them.

what symptoms does the car have to make you wonder if the coil pack has gone faulty?

Time will tell, but no reason for a failure as no water or oil present, so hopefully a faulty part and I will get my money back on the failed part.... :y

If not, then I might just have something to say on here..... ;) ;)
