philips bose ccrt 700 power drain
« on: 27 August 2011, 14:11:59 »

Hi again chaps,
I have had a power drain problem which turns out to be the radio. the auto-lec [ vauxhall trained ] tells me that these particular radios have been prone to this problem.
Has anyone had this problem and, other than sourcing another radio, is there a solution.

Actually, sourcing another radio might not be such a bad idea.

How quickly does it flatten the battery?

They aren't expensive, maybe £40 via one of the breakers or ebay and would either fix the problem or give you a spare unit.

I might even have a spare one if you are interested. Let me see if I have the code for it.

Thanks - Rob

Hi Rob
From a good charge it flattens overnight, no power to even run the radio. If you have a bose one I would be interested.
