I think it was £35 or £40 for one year, or a bit less (around £60) for two years.

I have tried at another vx dealer today to try to renew this , I knew from the puzzled look on his face he had no idea what  I was asking for right from the start  ::) so I am assuming vx do not renew these anymore unless some one can different  ;)
Anyway  I tried to call the phone numder that the unit was giving me this number is not valid now  ::) the correct number to call is
08705561712 I quoted the licence number as the unit told me too, oh we can not do it from that what is the car reg . I tried to explain that I had fitted the unit myself and it was not linked to the car by any records  ::) oh in that case  I have to set up an account for you to give you a pin code  :-X any way  I have eventually managed to renew the licence for the year the cost is £30 for a year and £55 for two years if any one neds to know  ;)
