As said, get down there with cash!

If it's a HUGE saving on this model, you could legally take him to small claims because it's a binding contract ;D

The seller wont reply to me. Silly git should have put a reserve on it. Bet he's papping himself cause I only live down the road ;D

prior to the auction you won...

 :-X :-X

Spotted that Markie :y  He's not having much luck, is he? ;D

Needless to say, I DID NOT send £300 by paypal at the end of the auction. The car will be getting a thorough check. ;)

Aye - just worried that he may simply be refusing to sell - saving listing fees by not putting a reserve on and alarm bells rung when you said he hasnt contacted you....

His wife emailed me, he's......erm....at work ;D Did a search on the previous winner and he lives in........West Yorkshire!! This is great, I dont really need the car but, you know me, why miss out on upsetting someone? ;D

Just spoke to the guy. Even though he stated full service history in the ad, the belts had not been done. That's another £1000 on the price so no thanks.

Ouch - long overdue then as well.

For the benefit of the forum( i know STMO knows) its a quad belt and not a job for the DIYer..... £1000 is the average dealer price it has been known to be higher..
