Debs, notice you're from Bala....  beautiful part of the country...  it's lovely to drive from Bala to Trawsfynyd (Sorry about the spelling)  in the dark  or in the snow.. done it a few times... so haunting :y

Was looking for some ratchet spanners... the inner / upper droplink nut on the Meega is a pig to get at... ratchet spanner is the answer.. :y


Dave it's too late :-/....we now know :y....no point in changing the subject now unless you start another thread ;D ;D

Honest, had to get the blow torch on it this evening.. it's an original drop link... they have pinch nuts on rather than nylocks...   and my bloody back was getting cold because I didn't have a Loo Knee nightee ;D ;D ;D ;D

Am I digging myself deeper???? ::)

Oh yes just wonderful, that`s through the 'Arenig' mountains past Llyn Celyn reservior (where I walk the dogs each day).
That`s high on the list of Britain`s greatest driving routes.
Can be very bleak in the Winter though, Dave; but at any time of the year a place to stop, pause and take time-out to say "Wow what a view!"  :y

There is a nice route from Welshpool to Bala past some lakes haven't done it since Carlton era, done it both Carlton and Sunbeam

Carlton was day out with Sue and my parents, Sunbeam was camping break (stayed at Bala and Anglesey about 2 months before meeting above female)
