key fobs

does any fob  even if it is not the one pertaining to my car work , providing the blade & chip are the correct ones. :-\

The chip is for the immobiliser & needs to be next to its transmitter/receiver around the ignition barrel for the car to start, nothing to do with the remote locking.  :y :y
