Considering that at least 50% of their clientel are from the military garrison itself I think this store has made a major boo-boo, I wouldn't be suprised if there is a new manager there soon

Coincidentally the spin from the HQ is without doubt the worst example of backpeddling arse-kissing I have ever seen not to mention the whole 'shutting the door after the horse has bolted' issue:

"This is a special charity project we are pleased to be supporting.VOMIT! The single is available in 205 of our stores and on December 26 it will be available in 458"

The goal is for it to be a Christmas No 1!  Idiots!

It's my mum's local Tesco and, having been in there many a time and spoken to a manager, I'm not surprised at the Manager's comments

That said... It's a major Boo-Boo as Guffers has said, considering it's location and clientèle

Despite my wide tastes in music, I'm not a fan of the song.  However, I sincerely hope it is Christmas No 1 for 2 reasons...

1) Worthy, and slight Christmas element to it
2) Stop Crap-Factor generation.  I just hope it will be the beginning of the end of the mindless drivel that put on Saturday nights.


I thing I've toned that down sufficiently not to get a ban from that nasty Mr Kevin Wood, who keeps banning my other accounts...

To be honest, thats what they are in business to do. And very successful they are too at it.

All businesses are, of course, but some large businesses use some of their clout and resources to help charities and the like of their own initiative every now and then, instead of telling them for go forth because they are too busy selling cheap tat.
