Good deal on hose clips at screwfix
« on: 07 November 2011, 23:00:24 »

I was installing my LPG kit and needed some hose clips. A quick browse on Screwfix ( search under hose clips) shows they have a range they are clearing at aprox 10 for about £1, most sizes. They are reasonable quality and better than those things you have to squeeze to fasten.

yes its all those useful things you keep cause they will be useful one day. Trouble is you either loose them, or collect too much stuff and can't find them. I bought some copper slip the other day, only  to discover I already had 2 tubes of the stuff  :-X .  And I used to work at a radar place. I now have a box of 4 thousand 6BA screws. What the h*ll am I going to do with 4K ?. Well they may be useful one day ..................

Its a disease I tell you, a virus.

Ive been chucking perfectly useful Omega parts in the bin recently as Ive run out of space to keep stuff.Had to be a bit ruthless about it unfortunately.Would like to have a warehouse to keep it all in,but then you need to sell a lot more (or raise prices a lot) to pay the rent. A bit of a vicious circle. ::)

Be better used if a couple of them were around your gob,and a couple of smaller ones to hold your typing fingers together. ::) :P ;D
