located n/s on a 2.5td near to the power steering reservoir there is an inline filter, part of the vaccuum pipe set up i think.  :-\  iv,e never changed it , does it need to be changed occassionally. :)

You mean the ickle tiny one that's attached (ultimately) to the EGR valve?

I think you can safely ignore it :)
