Thats the pump thats driven off the back of the head and drives off the pas pump,I did the pas pump on an X type jag 2.0 diseasel the other week which is the same motor,i didn't have to touch the water pump but the steering pump was quite easy to change and would have to come off to do the w/pump I would think,the pas pump has like an allen key drive through to the water pump,dunno if my ramblings have helped Rob but good luck with it
