We should protest about all that free prescription malarkey.

Occupy Wales, anyone? I'll bring the tent. ;D

We'll send our sheep to get you! :P

You only pay to come into Wales,it's free to enter England.

Easiest way to explain it, if you think of Britain as a nightclub, the westbound Severn crossing is the entrance to the VIP lounge.  :y

Try taking a wagon over the Humber bridge - £20.30 - both ways!   :o

Coupled with buying votes - possibly.Although it must be the case that at some of the people paying for the prescriptions through taxation, are actually poorer than some of the people  using them,so not much socialism involved there. ;)

Hi, going back to my original topic about the the tolls, someone that I know just come back from a 2 week holiday (via Bristol airport),on reaching the toll booth,he handed his blue badge to the attendant only to be told that it had expired during his time away.
He had to cough up and pay after a disscussion, but not before causing a long tail back heading for the tolls.
