Hopefully someone will have a suggestion.

I've replaced the two rear brake pipes and changed pads all round. On bleeding the brakes I've fluid coming from the rear and drivers side wheel but not a drop from the front passenger side. I've tried using the standard draper bleeding kit and tried doing it the old way of opening and shutting the nipple every time but can't get a drop from it.

Anyone got any ideas as im desperate to get the old girl back on the road!

try pumping the brake pedel a few times with bleed nipple open

brake fluid should come out

You may want to try this as it has always worked for me when bleeding brakes after opening up the system.

Start engine and let idle for a while ...open up bleed nipple and push pedal to the floor and hold ..then release and repeat..you will eventually get fluid through although watch the reservoir to ensure it doesn,t run dry.

Well I was at it all afternoon with not much joy. I eventually removed the flexihise from the caliper and there was no fluid there even when pumping pedal, so I removed other end of flexible pipe and on pumping fluid started to come through.

I reconnected hose but there was still no fluid on other end. So I'm thinking that the flexible hose may have collapsed???

I;m thinking that the ABS block has an airlock and needs excercised with tech2 in conjunction with bleeding.....

Think I may just try and replace the flexible pipe first and see what happens. Knew I should have taken them off the other mig before she went.

May just post in wanted and try a known secondhand one before wasting money!

What are the ezibleed kits like, are they more efficient??

They are very good if you are working alone. Using the air from your spare tyre (pressure reduced to max 20psi) it forces brake fluid in to the system from the bottle which you fill with brake fluid (  obviously ). You would then be effectively forcing fluid through the system to the troublesome brake line.
I've got a Gunson one which works fine. Pity you can't borrow one as they are about sixteen pounds for something that you don't use very often.

Next step would be as already suggested below.

get some brake hose clamps if you dont have any, then go round the other three wheels that work and clamp the flexi,s so no fluid can pass. then open the non working nipple when someone has pressed the pedal to the floor, close it or block it before the pedal is released, do this a couple of times you will see fluid appear, what you are in effect doing is using all of the master cylinder,s stroke in one hose, instead of 25percent as normal

My MOT guy warned me about this problem as i had to change my flexi pipes, He said to do one side at a time & bleed it through before doing the other side or problems will result, The only thing i can suggest is to try suction on the bleed nipple.

Sounds like an easybleed and a new hose then and cross my fingers!

Ive got an easi-bleed kit somewhere in my garage if you get stuck, I dont think you are too far away from me.

Try a syringe first, far cheaper than an easy bleed and equally as effective (for the odd one off)...
