Been on the cards since the Ruski took it over, though I though he had committed to building a new factory nearby. Obviously not...

Their UK sales will be virtually zero now.

I wonder who will take over their market?

There sales have been dropping for some time, ever since they introduced there own designed naff straight six engine.

Never could work that out......in the US you can get a turnkey crate light weight LS6 with 500+Bhp for $8000+ which is reliable. You dont NEED to spend stupid money on your own design.......Nearly twice the power of the old Rover V8 in the Griffith. Bolt on a 6 speed Tremec (and not the naff T5 used in the Griffith which doesnt last long) and decent ZF slipper axle and you have exactly what TVR is all about off the shelf.

They lost there way, should have concectrated on the chassis and looks which is thier forte and not fannying with designing thier own drive train bits.....its no surprise realy.
