Two Fire Engines and ten Firefighters to remove a cockring ??    I'd have thought a bucket of icy water and it'd just fall off....  Maybe the other nine went along for a laugh  There's a joke there somewhere, I'm sure

Maybe they'd been listening to Beyonce's "Put a ring on it" and they really liked it...

And don't ask why I know this, but I believe the idea is they help things stay 'inflated' by stopping the blood from returning.. which is why cold water etc doesn't work - it simply can't go down, so to speak.
