Carbon door trims & gear shift surround...
« on: 15 March 2008, 16:16:41 »

Just got these for a bargain price... but I really don't know if I want to fit them to the Elite.

I like the look of them, don't get me wrong, but the only part I'm lacking now for a complete set is the climate surround...  And would look a bit weird having a wood climate & ashtry, with carbon door trims & selector surround...

So...

do I fit them regardless & sell the wood bits, or do I sell the Carbon bits for a bit more??

Plastic wood is 2-a-penny.

Plastic carbon fibre is less common, though not really worth much without being complete.

I really dislike the plastic wood, as fitted to my Elite, much prefer the plastic carbon, personally...

well there is a chance I can 'complete' the set soon, as there getting an MV6 in at a place near me, so I've called first dibs on it.

Torn though what to do  ;D
