but for some reason they do not have holes for the fixings

can you still buy the fixings for the mats if so where from stealers?

This may or may not be the part number for the retainers: Part Number 90397444
Sure somebody could verify.
SET, MOUNTING PARTS, CARPET MAT (CONTAINS 4 CLIPS)    90397444  :)

How much are the Vx mats and are they available with TC discount? I need a pair for my car and would really like something that does not slip and slide all over the place. At not too exorbitant a cost.

They won't be on TC.

They have arrived today:

Delivery 10/10
Quality  6.5/10
Fit         9/10

They came with one fixing retainer and a hole in the center of the drivers mat for the retainer to fit into, the issue here is my Elite has two retainers either side at the back of both front mats. No great problem really but will need to lay my hands on some more plastic clips.
So far as the quality, they are not the best but they do fit well and for the £15 inc P&P I'm not complaining. However if I had paid the original £29 + P&P I would not be so happy. The backs look like they will grip ok without sliding but time will tell.
So a cheap set of mats that fit well will do the job of protecting the carpet and look reasonably smart, just dont expect the best.

Hmmm. I suppose at that price you cant complain.

Where is AndyC when you need to find out the price of Vx mats?  :)
